Today in my ESL class we met some students from Denmark. They are in a
program which can bring them to visit other places. This time they come to New York
for a visit.
In the class we talked about a lot of things. One thing that Denmark really
different from New York is their school system. In their school, they don't depend on
credit for graduating. They depend on how a student understands the school system they
have their grade in letters. There are mostly private schools in Denmark. There are a lot
of different majors. Almost every family has a computer.
For some rules in New York, they don't have in Denmark. Like rules for drinking
alcohol and smoking. In their place, any age can buy for alcohol and cigarette. Teens
drink and smoke in the parties and night pop are normal in there. In their free times they
usually go to parties on study.
When they come to New York, they were so excited. They like New York's
buildings. They think they're tall and great. And one thing makes them so excited.
That's "New York." "New York" is the name of a great city in the United States. But
they still don't like something about New York, like those people sleeping on the street.
They told us, if we go to Denmark where should we go for visit. They told us
Copenhagen is the biggest city. The Jylland is an island, it's a quite place. Like for
farming. Also and other place Fyn. If any day that I have a chance to go to Denmark I
think I'm going to go to these places.
